The five SCORE chapters located in Northeast Ohio are combining to host NEO Women Connect, a women’s leadership luncheon, workshop and trade show in September.
The event will be held from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm September 21 at the Kent State University at Stark Conference Center in Canton, Ohio.
The schedule of events includes:
9:30am - Noon: A Trade Show featuring women-owned business with key focus on products and services of interest to existing and prospective women entrepreneurs.
10:15 am – 11:00 and 11:15 - Noon: Two 45 minute Breakout Sessions including a panel of successful SCORE clients from across northeast Ohio and a moderated Leadership Panel featuring Trina Cutter, president and CEO of Western Reserve Public Media, Betsy Engels, vice president, sales & business development for Tata Steel Plating and Cathy Geib, MPOD, ACC, GPCC, SPHR, and CEO of Authentic Focus Consulting.
Noon - 1:30 pm -- A Luncheon including Jennifer Downey, founder and president of Ambiance, Inc. as the featured speaker. Downey was instrumental in building Ambiance, The Store for Lovers, into one of NE Ohio’s most-recognized brands.
“We’re excited to bring such a great group of successful women together to share their experiences in business and in life,” said Patricia Ripple, SCORE’S Northern Ohio district director and member of SCORE’s national advisory council. “The collaboration among the five northeast Ohio chapters also brings a regional perspective to the day.”
The five SCORE chapters involved are Akron, Canton, Cleveland, North Central and Youngstown.
