Began career in mid 1960’s after receiving Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. ♦ Initial employment with General Electric as a Process and Quality Engineer. ♦ Next 13 years held various positions ranging from starting position to: Ø Foreman, Ø Manufacturing Engineer Ø Equipment Design Engineer Ø Supervisor of Industrial Engineering. Ø Course Instructor – Manufacturing Management Training Program: (specific qualifications and education required for certification to teach) ( in addition to performing the job held at the time) MTS, SPC, Human Behavior, ♦ Consultant for A.T.Kearney, Inc. 6 years in late 1970’s Ø assignments in continental U.S., Europe and Middle East Ø assignment content included a wide range from strategic planning, facility design and layout as well as quality system assessments Ø Worked with clients such as Baxter Travenol, Firestone Tire & Rubber, Bendix Air Brake, General Dynamics and Rubbermaid, Ford, GM, BMW Ø began as Associate and was promoted to Project Manager ♦ V.P of Operations for a Cleveland firm in early 1980’s. ♦ Mid 1980’s started a consulting firm, L. E. Dupuy & Associates. Continue to present ♦ Part time teaching at Cleveland State University, Stark State College, Lakeland Community College, Hiram College between 1993 and 2015 ♦ Guest lecturer at The American University in Cairo, Egypt ♦ Clients include over 100 smaller companies (less than 200 employees) as well as such well known companies as Diebold, Rubbermaid, Inco Metals and others ♦ Have demonstrated RAB accepted expertise in 124 different SIC code industries ranging from Aerospace to Construction, Service and Manufacturing.
